This week the Gilliam family is suffering from a series of head colds that are relentless. We have been very busy and my blogging has suffered. We made a trip to the one and only Creation Museum that is located in Kentucky. It is the only museum that is based on creation in the world. If you ever get the chance it is worth traveling to see. It has opened our eyes in so many ways and we have made many return trips. This time we took our grandparents and had a lot of fun.
This one of the exhibits in the museum that explains a lot about the history of the dinosaurs. The museum walks you through the Bible and faces many of the problems in modern day society.
This is one of the talking models in the museum. The one sitting here is of Noah in the ark and answers questions when asked through a touch screen in front of his exhibit.
In our house unless your illness is extreme you're still educated. :) We may do some oral math, writing, and reading. If you're really sick, it's an excuse to cuddle up with your current book. If there is a fever, vomiting, or something else as serious involved you can get away with some educational videos and some chicken noodle soup. Our mama makes sure we are thoroughly cuddled and sympathized when a sickness arises. :)
Here are some picture from this week. ..........
This is Jessica on our way to church Sunday. Such a pretty blonde-haired blue-eyed lass.

My current crochet project. Not in it's best condition, since there are brown place markers sticking out from all angles.
A doily I designed myself. It's a beautiful copper color. I'm quite happy with it. :)
........ and last but not least : my taco table setting. I love the colors and simplicity of this photo.
